Waiting at airports is never pleasant, especially for children. At Athens Airport you can get a taste of history while waiting! Don't miss the permanent exhibition of archaeological finds. Young and old will love it!

The archaeological finds exhibition is located at the departure level of the airport, at entrance 3.

The museum is open every day, Monday to Sunday from 6:00 to 23:00. The entrance is free.
You will find 172 ancient artefacts that come exclusively from excavations carried out at the airport site.

The exhibits highlight the cultural tradition of the region. They date from the Neolithic and Early Helladic period (3200 - 2000 BC) to the Post-Byzantine period (1453 - 1821 AD).
