1- GENERAL DEFINITIONS
This website is operated by APOSTOLOS DRES, owner of an individual company of baby equipment rental that goes by the name BABYTRAVELLER in this website. By visiting this site or renting something, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
In this agreement “You” are the Client and “We” are Babytraveller.
3- ORDER
The order should be made through our website, by email or by phone. We will confirm availability by email within 24 hours including delivery-pickup fees with a link for secure payment.
Payment can be done online via credit/debit card or by cash on delivery.
The order is considered validated once we receive your payment. This fact brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
The rental period begins on the date on which we make available the equipment to you. The entire rental period will be charged regardless of the events that reduce the number of days of use of equipment, and even in case of early return.
You have the option to extend the initial rental duration. In this case, the price is that of the new total period. The payment of the difference should be paid the latest when returning the equipment. The extension will be accepted only if the relevant equipment is available, otherwise you must return the equipment as the initial contract provided.
4- DELIVERY OF THE MATERIAL
We deliver to all addresses in Athens area. We –or someone designated by us- will deliver at the address you indicated us. We reserve the right not to deliver outside Athens area and to charge additional delivery costs if we do decide to deliver outside this area.
We will deliver in Athens area between 8am and 9pm, at the address and time agreed. The time you requested is not contractual and we reserve the right of changing in case necessary or case of force majeure. For deliveries outside our service times (8am-9pm) we reserve the right to charge extra costs.
Delivery and pick-up costs (VAT included):
· 6 euros for any order to be delivered or picked-up in Athens area A between 8am and 9pm, from Monday to Saturday
· 13 euros for any order to be delivered or picked-up in Athens area B between 8am and 9pm, from Monday to Saturday
· +3 euros for deliveries or picks-up on Sundays, Bank Holidays and between 6am-8am and 9pm-00:00
· +13 euros for deliveries or picks-up between 00:00 and 6am
In case you –or someone you designated - are not at the address and time agreed, we will try to contact you by email or phone to set up a new delivery or pick-up appointment: in that case we reserve the right to deliver or pick-up late and to charge you for additional delivery cost. We also reserve the right to rent out to another client any equipment that could not be delivered on the date or time agreed.
In case of events out of our control and cases of force majeure (strikes, storms, delays in the return of previous rentals, etc) we may be obliged to delay or annulment delivery, in which case we cannot be held responsible for their direct or indirect consequences.
Material will be delivered clean and in good conditions, with proper packaging when needed. You must check the material when received. In case the material it is not in good condition or does not correspond with the equipment ordered, you should inform us immediately and we will replace it as soon as possible.
5-USE OF THE MATERIAL
All equipment rented remain at all times the property of BabyTraveller. The rented equipment is for private use not for commercial use, unless prior agreement with BabyTraveller.
You have to carefully read the instructions that we will supply with the equipment prior to its use and to follow the instructions at all times while using the equipment.
You have to take care and ensure the safekeeping of the equipment.
You have to use the equipment in a safe and sensible manner and in accordance with both the purpose for which it was supplied and the manufacturer’s instructions.
As it is required during the course of any other activity, the supervision of an adult is mandatory while children are using any of the rented items.
The assembly of the provided items will be carried out by you. The majority of our items are provided totally or partially assembled.
6- CONDITION OF EQUIPMENT ON RETURN
At the end of the rental period you must return the material in the same good condition in which you received it and only slight damages and wear due to the normal use should be accepted.
When returning the equipment rented, in case a product or part of it, is damaged, broken, lost or stolen, making it temporarily or permanently unusable for a new location, you will be charged with the market value of the product in question.
The equipment must be returned with the same, or similar, packaging system. If the packaging system is damaged or destroyed, additional amounts will be charged.
All items must be returned clean, if the item is returned dirtier than expected for a proper use, additional amounts will be charged.
In case the equipment is returned to us late and within 24 hours after the end of the rental period, we reserve the right to charge additional amounts. In case the material has not been returned to us 24hours after the end of the rental period, you will be charged with the market value of the product in question
We will report to you, within 5 working days after return of the rented equipment, any damage and / or malfunctions of the products, and we will inform you of the costs you will be charged of.
7- CANCELLATIONS
To cancel your contract with us you must notify us in writing, by email in the address babytraveller.gr@gmail.com..
In case you cancel your order or part of it, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 15euros and the rest of the amount payed will be returned to you. In case you cancel your order or part of it within 48 hours before the scheduled start of rental period we will return to you only the delivery fees.
The entire rental period will be charged regardless of the events that reduce the number of days of use of equipment, and even in case of early return.
BabyTraveller reserves the right of refusing the rental or cancelling the order in cases like: no stock availability, failure of order payment, delivery outside area, etc. Once you have been notified by us that we are cancelling your contract any sum you paid will be entirely return to your account within 5 working days of the cancellation of the contract between us.
8. BABYTRAVELLER RESPONSABILITY
If the equipment we deliver is not what you ordered or is damaged or defective we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us immediately when received. You must check the material when received. In case the material is not in good condition or does not correspond with the equipment ordered, you should inform us immediately and you can choose to receive a full refund or ask for replacement. In that case we will do our best to replace the equipment as soon as possible.
BabyTraveller is not responsible for any accident, damage or injury which may occur due to the inappropriate use of the provided items.
We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by anyway of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the equipment in question.
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.babytraveller.gr (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
